Wokingham Borough Council has released details of adult education courses available to book this Autumn. The adult education service offers a range of courses, including digital and computer skills, supporting your child’s learning and English skills. The service is also running a series of courses to support wellbeing, delivered on its behalf by Activate Learning: Bracknell & Wokingham College. These include Sing for Wellbeing, Six Steps to Better Mental Health and Mindfulness Seasonal Nature Walk.
This year here at CCB we will be delivering courses to help support those that work or volunteer in village halls and community buildings. Our courses focus on Safeguarding, Quality Standards and how to become Carbon neutral. If you’d like to stay up-to-date with what’s being delivered please sign up to receive our monthly e-bulletin by clicking here:
Courses vary in length and teaching is mixed between in person and online. Courses are free to those claiming income support or job seeking benefits and concessionary rates are available to those claiming Working Tax Credits or people referred by a Wokingham support service. For other learners, the courses may have a fee. To find out more, please visit Wokingham Borough’s website or contact us by email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 07767 380 722 / 07785 314 603
