The fund will re-open for Stage One applications on 20 February 2023

The Platinum Jubilee Village Halls Fund has proved popular with hundreds of applications being received by our national body Action with Communities in Rural England (ACRE.)

All Stage One submissions made to date have now been carefully considered and they have written to committees letting them know whether or not their proposal is eligible for funding and can progress to Stage 2 of the application process.

Village hall committees that haven’t yet submitted a Stage One application, can still do so as the fund will be reopening for applications on 20 February 2023, closing on 3 March 2023 at 23:59.  

Applications can also be resubmitted but ACRE strongly encourage halls to read the FAQ document and supporting guidance as they are only able to consider those that meet the eligibility criteria.

Please note the demand for the fund is high so not all applicants will be funded.
