Last month (September), our Rural Housing Enabler, Maria, had the pleasure of meeting with Olivia Bailey MP in the Beenham Community Room.

A big thank you to Cllr David Hancock from Beenham Parish Council for the invitation! We had a productive discussion about the ongoing housing needs survey in Beenham, and the fantastic response from residents.

We talked about the potential of community-led developments in rural exception sites to strengthen and sustain rural communities, and the need for rural housing enablers to support communities long-term, at every stage of development.

We’re encouraged by Olivia’s active interest in rural housing issues and look forward to further discussions about our work with rural communities!
