As part of a new government funded project, small to medium-sized businesses (SMEs) operating in Berkshire with less than 250 full-time equivalent employees can now access free training for members of staff over 16 years old (and resident in the UK/EU) to help upskill their workforce.
Training will be delivered on a flexible, modular basis and will be tailored to the specific needs of your company and employees. Programmes can include accredited units, certificates or diplomas as well as non-accredited training, which will be delivered at your workplace and local partner facilities. Employees will then have the opportunity to progress on to a full, industry-recognised qualification, such as an apprenticeship, to gain more in-depth knowledge and higher level skills.
All of the training partners in the Skills for the Workforce programme have years of experience working with businesses in a wide range of sectors, and can ensure your workforce is equipped with the skills it needs to keep your business competitive.
To benefit from this offer and see how the pieces can fall into place for your business, please contact your nearest training provider for a free consultation.
The Skills for the Workforce programme is part of the Employees Support in Skills project, which is part-funded by the European Union through the European Social Fund (ESF).
